Currently #1 on Reddit. Some are pretty funny. Nobody has yet fessed up to actually buying one. Most PT Cruisers seem to be inherited from grandparents.

My dad started cooking meth and bought me a sweet Challenger SRT8, but my mom made him take it back and she got me the PT Cruiser.

It's buh...buh...bullshit.

I have no idea why, but both my mom and my sister like the looks of the PT Cruiser, so my sister got one for her first car. We recently took it on a trip to NorCal, which is a 6 hour drive for us. The thing did fine right up until we got about a block away from our house. Then it died. The end.

I purchased mine, first car I ever owned/purchased, still have it. '08 base model, surf blue pearlcoat. I was about to get married, didn't want to borrow my parents '00 Malibu for the rest of my life, so I went car shopping. I really wanted the Cobalt that was at the dealership, but we couldn't make the deal because I didn't want to spend over $10k on a car. The pt cruiser was there every visit i made to the dealership. Its bright blue color stuck out like a sore thumb. I purchased it expecting to have a family in a few years. Keep in mind, I knew nothing about cars at the time. I like cruiser. We call it"Jolly Roger", and it serves the purpose we bought it for, being a car.

Though, I am searching for a 2nd car. That way Jolly Roger can be retired and I can drive him the way he wants to be driven, down dirt roads, pretending to be a rally car....
